About William M. Huang, MD, FACOG
Dr. William Huang enjoys collaborating with patients and their obstetrician in the care of pregnant women. He specializes in pregnancies complicated by medical disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid, liver and kidney diseases, autoimmune diseases, and other medical diseases. He also specializes in prenatal diagnosis for women with high-risk pregnancies due to multiple gestations, advanced maternal age, fetal abnormalities, prior pregnancy complications, prior preterm births, recurrent miscarriages, or family history of birth defects or other abnormalities. He can provide preconception consults to discuss the risks of pregnancy and provide steps to minimize those risks in women anticipated to be high risk.
Dr. Huang sees patients for consultation or for co-management with their obstetrician. He performs prenatal ultrasounds (sonograms) – all trimesters, ultrasound for uterine anomalies, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and amniocentesis.
Dr. William Huang is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He graduated from Georgetown University, completed residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center where he also practiced general OB/GYN, and then completed fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at New York University. He has been practicing MFM at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital since 2007 and joined the Weill Cornell Medical College faculty in 2012.
